The younger sister of 'train wreck of the year' Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears, announced to OK Magazine that she was pregnant with the child of her boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

Despite the fact that Britney Spears has attracted the worst sort of attention in the last two years, Jamie Lynn Spears apparently had no problem announcing the news of her pregnancy to the tabloid OK Magazine. Britney Spears has long been mocked for her lack of sophistication and her southern accent. If it hasn't happened already, a barefoot and pregnant Jamie Spears will be the straw that broke the camel's back for both Spears. There's little chance the press wil restrain itself from turning both Spears sisters into America's most famous and beloved hillbilles.

Britney Spears has been attracting negative attention for the past several years. Britney and her then-husband Kevin Federling had two children several years ago - Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James. Shortly after the birth of their second child, Britney and Federline were divorced. Of course this attracted a torrent of tabloid attention it now looks like a small page on the recent story of Britney Spears.

Federline wasn't without a history when it comes to irresponsible birthing. Before marrying Spears, Federline left his girlfiriend Shar Jackson who was eight months pregnant with his second child.

Shortly after the birth of Sean Preston rumours began to circulate about Britney being pregnant with the couple's second child. Around the same time Spears used a Dateline interview to talk about an impending divorce from Federline. In the same interview she addressed the circulation of pictures showing her driving with Sean Preston in the front seat of her car without a car seat or seatbelt. She then posed nude on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Magazine before the birth of Jayden James Federline.

After the birth Jayden James Federline the divorce between Spears and Kevin Federline was finalized. Britney's troubles continued. At the beginning of 2007 she admitted herself to an Antigua drug rehab center. She left the rehabilitation center in less than 24 hours. The night following her return to California from Antigua Britney shaved her head. A few days later she admitted herself to a drug rehab facility again, this time in Malibu, California. Like the first stint in rehab, Britney didn't remain long. She stayed for a bit more than 24 hours. But unlike her rehab visit in Antigua, Britney returned to the Malibu facility in two days.
