Birth control options include physical and hormonal methods of preventing pregnancy such as condoms, or birth control pills, and behavioral practices such as family planning and abstinence.

Because factors influencing birth control decisions can include religious or social beliefs as well as existing individual medical conditions, BirthControl.md is not intended to guide any single individual's birth control choices but to discuss available options, and how these options work.
